What's in the Help and File menus
Where the menus are
- Mac: in the menu bar at the top of your screen while Enjoy is the app in front.
- Windows: select the button with three lines in the top-left corner of Enjoy. The menus open from there.
- Linux: in the menu bar of the Enjoy window.
The Help menu
- Enjoy Manual opens the Manual, these guides, on the right of the Enjoy window, and closes it again. Its shortcut is ⌘? on a Mac, or Ctrl+? on Windows and Linux. See Read the Manual inside Enjoy.
- View release notes opens What’s new in Enjoy inside the app. See See what’s new in Enjoy.
- Contact support opens your email app with a new message to help@enjoy.dev. See Contact support.
- Show logs opens your file manager with Enjoy’s current log file selected, ready to attach to an email to support. See What to include when you ask for help.
- Delete all application data… resets Enjoy on this computer, after asking you to confirm. Your project folders stay. See Delete all application data.
- About, on Windows and Linux, shows which version of Enjoy you have. On a Mac, choose About Enjoy from the Enjoy menu instead.
The File menu
- Check for updates… looks for a new version of Enjoy right away and shows the result in a small panel. See Update Enjoy.
- On a Mac, Close Window (⌘W) closes the open file tab when you’re in Files. Otherwise it hides the Enjoy window, and agents keep working. Select Enjoy’s icon in the Dock to bring the window back.
- On Windows, File also has Close and Exit. Both quit Enjoy.
The View menu
- Anonymize account emails hides your email addresses before you record or share your screen. It’s off until you turn it on. While it’s checked, every email Enjoy shows becomes a short code at the same domain, such as
k3f9a2@gmail.com. That includes your agent accounts in the agent picker and the working indicator, and your Enjoy account. The same address always gets the same code, so you can still tell your accounts apart. Only what’s on screen changes: your accounts and messages keep the real address. Enjoy remembers the choice until you turn it off. - On a Mac, View also has full screen.
The other menus
- Edit has Undo, Redo, Cut, Copy, Paste, and Select All. On Linux, it has Cut, Copy, Paste, and Select All.
- On a Mac and on Windows, Window has Minimize and commands to resize or close the window.
- On a Mac, the Enjoy menu also has Hide Enjoy and Quit Enjoy.
