# Enjoy — Play stack

The three tilted blue, orange, and pink bars are Enjoy’s logo. Workshop direction 03 was adopted September 8, 2026.

- **`assets/icon.svg`** is the canonical source: the exact approved app icon, including the ivory tile.
- **`mark.svg`** is the same symbol on a transparent background, cropped for headers and lockups.
- **`icon.svg`** is the full app icon with transparent outer corners.
- **`icon-dark.svg`** is the charcoal-tile alternative, with matching PNG, WebP, ICO, and ICNS exports. Browser favicons follow the selected theme. On macOS, `packages/desktop/src-tauri/icons/Icon.icon` pairs the ivory and charcoal tiles; its compiled `Assets.car` shows the charcoal tile when the Dark icon style is selected, and the Dock working animation follows the same setting. Other native bundles use the ivory icon.
- **`icon-maskable.svg`** extends the ivory background to every edge for platform-managed masks.
- **`mark-black.svg` / `mark-white.svg`** are single-color variants.
- Every variant has PNGs at 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, and 1024 px, plus lossless WebP at 1024 px.
- **`icon.ico` / `icon.icns`** contain Windows/browser and macOS icon sizes.
- **`banner-*.png` / `banner-*.svg`** are five 2400 × 480 blue banners with the lockup and `www.enjoy.dev`; Address pill is the primary one. They are copied from `artifacts/banner-variations-workshop/exports/` (rebuild with `node artifacts/banner-variations-workshop/build.mjs`). The SVGs use live Arial Rounded MT Bold text; use the PNGs where that font is unavailable.

Use the transparent mark next to the Enjoy name. Use the ivory tile for app launchers, avatars, and favicons. Keep the bars’ colors, proportions, ordering, and angles. The palette is blue `#2878ef`, orange `#f58220`, and pink `#ed438b`. Preserve empty space around the mark. Do not recolor it with project colors.

Run `yarn brand:generate` from the repository root after changing the master. This generates this directory, desktop platform assets, all app/website favicons, web manifest icons, self-contained relay assets, and the website’s downloadable `/brand/enjoy-brand-kit.zip`. Generated copies should not be edited directly. Requires the repository’s installed Sharp and Tauri CLI, plus `zip`; the macOS asset catalog also requires Xcode 26 or later.

The development desktop uses generated `packages/desktop/src-tauri/icons/dev/` artwork with a navy **DEV** badge, selected by `tauri.dev.conf.json`. The macOS working animation preserves the badge. Run `yarn brand:generate --dev-only` to regenerate just these assets; release icons and the public brand kit keep the standard mark.

React: reuse `Brand` or `BrandMark` from `packages/app/src/ui/Brand.tsx`. Astro: reuse `packages/website/src/components/Brand.astro`. The public website’s `/brand/` page offers previews and downloads. Brand artwork stays still at rest; header hover/focus adds a short lift and respects reduced motion.
